E1: MOBJ: Using APIs to Access, Update and or Insert Media Object Attachments in F00165
(Doc ID 639974.1)
Last updated on MARCH 06, 2023
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
Media Object APIs are available with EnterpriseOne. These APIs can be used within a custom business function to access, update and/or insert Media Object Attachments. The available APIs and functionality of those APIs is dependent on your release level of EnterpriseOne.
This document provides links to documentation on the available APIs for Media Objects as well as providing some examples of how these APIs can be used to access or insert media object attachments. In order to use the Media Object APIs, they would need to be coded within a C Business Function.
NOTE: There is not a generic business function that retrieves media object text. All business functions that retrieve information from the F00165 are for specific purposes within standard EnterpriseOne applications. Therefore, you will have to create your own custom C business function for your requirements using these APIs discussed in this document. Oracle Support does not provide assistance in coding the API in the custom business function and recommends customer request Oracle Consulting billable services.
Scope
This document is intended for the EntepriseOne Developer who will be using APIs in a custom business function to access, update or insert Media Object Attachments.
