Does CRM Customer Application Always Default 0000 for Company?

Client uses Line of Business  Preferences.(v8.9)  When a lead is converted in CRM 2.0, an address book/customer master record is created in E1. They then go and add a company to the new company to that record.

In 8.12, we can create a new customer from leads and have a default business unit. This is set up through processing options in the Lead, CRM Processing Options, CRM Customer, Address MBF applications. See screen shots.

I get the desired results for a business unit populating in CRM customer P90CA080. My question is does the application have the ability to attach the business unit's company to the record?
