E1: 40R: Demand Scheduling Dates (Doc ID 656656.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 02, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Demand Scheduling Execution - Version 8.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

There are two dates in Demand Scheduling that drive shipments on the generated sales order: Requested Ship Date and Promised Delivery Date. Requested Ship Date may be adjusted before getting added to the sales order if Adjust Ship Date for Non-Work Days is set in Demand Rules (P40R20).  Also, the F4211 Ship Date and Ship Time Update processing option of the Create Demand Schedule (R40R010) UBE also affect the sales order. All of this is outlined below.
