Symptoms

Here are some possible scenarios:

1. Customer is re-running table conversions (TCs) for an upgrade plan from EnterpriseOne Xe to 8.12 application release level and is getting the following errors on the UBE R899000:

Sep 24 23:52:29.640068 - 3500/3264 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject OCI0000361 - Non-NCHAR data type for column (TMTASKID) table (F9000) owner (TESTCTL)
Sep 24 23:52:29.640068 - 3500/3264 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject OCI0000362 - Error - DBOCI: Non-NCHAR data types not allowed for Unicode OneWorld data sources

 

 

2. Customer is running the Media Objects conversion (R8900165) for an upgrade from E1 Xe to 9.0 application release level and is getting the following errors in the jde.log:

3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.463000 dbtbspec.c546 OCI0000361 - Non-NCHAR data type for column (GDOBNM) table (F00165) owner (PRODDTA)
3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.478000 dbtbspec.c552 OCI0000362 - Error - DBOCI: Non-NCHAR data types not allowed for Unicode OneWorld data sources
3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.478001 Jdb_drvm.c1576 JDB9900184 - Failed to get table specs from db
3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.478002 Jdb_rq1.c8242 JDB9900275 - Failed to get foreign table specs
3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.478003 Jdb_rq1.c7901 JDB3100050 - Failed to load table information
3444/288 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Wed Feb 24 13:24:59.478004 B9840G.c212 Open table F00165 failed - Business Data - PROD



3. Non-upgrade scenario: When adding a batch application (UBE) to an OMW project and clicking Design to access RDA, the load of UBE intlo the RDA tool takes a very long time (up to 1 hour). The length of time depends on the complexity of the report. The same issue does not occur with other object types (APPL, TBLE, etc). The message in the jde.log:
