Goal
Some customers have reported the following behavior when running third party applications with EnterpriseOne using XML interoperability integration. As these applications run over a length of time, system administrator may notice a sudden increase in Database Connections from the E1 Logic Server and third party application server to the enterprise server. They may also see that the available memory on the server continues to decrease, eventually causing out of memory issues. Another symptom would be a considerable increase in the amount of memory being consumed by kernel processes on the application or enterprise server.
When these third party applications are stopped and started again, the performance problem stops and the database process creation rates return to normal and the memory is released.
