E1: UBE: System Users Other Than JDE Cannot Run UBEs on IBM iSeries (Doc ID 835577.1)

Symptoms

All EnterpriseOne users have their own system user (AS/400 user profile). When a user with a system user other than JDE submits a UBE, the UBE fails to submit and the UBE kernel crashes and turns into a zombie process. If the system user is JDE, regardless of which EnterpriseOne user you use, the UBE submits without an issue.

If submitting UBE from a Windows client the following error might be seen in the local jde.log:
