Purpose

Overview

Manufacturing Accounting (R31802A) reports costs associated with work orders. Journal entries are created for material issues, labor and overheads, and completions to finished goods.
The Product Cost Inquiry (P31022) is populated by creating the work order header (8.9 and onward), attaching the parts list and routing, and by running the Manufacturing Accounting (R31802A) program.  Variances are calculated from the Production Cost file (F3102) populated after running Journal Entries for Variances (R31804) after the work order is completed, in final mode.
