Symptoms
State wages incorrectly include exempt pay types with multiple state timecards. A pay type is entered that is tax exempt from all taxes (* in F8 Tax Exempt window of Pay Type Setup). When timecard is processed that contains multiple state, state wages incorrectly includes exempt pay type in calculation.
Steps
1. Create a new employee (work and res tax area 06).
2. Create a new pay type that is tax exempt from all taxes (* in F8 window).
3. Create timecard for employee with regular pay (tax area 05 and 06) and tax exempt pay (tax area 06).
4. Process timecard through payroll updating history.
5. Verify history update.
