Federal A tax is not calculating for employees of Northern Mariana Islands.

STEPS:

1. In Employee Entry, P060116, add an employee for tax area 68, Northern Mariana Islands, as a salaried employee.
2. From menu G0713, process pre-payroll, P06210, for this auto pay employee.
3. Review the Payroll Register, R063012, in the spooled file.
4. There is no Federal A tax calculated on the payroll register.
