WS: 07: Year End Rollover (P063913) Report Gives Error 4241 - Rollover Limit Not Found on Some New Employees When the Vacation DBA Setup for Rollover has a Lower Limit Set to a Value not Equal to Zero (0) (Doc ID 2924214.1)

Symptoms

When running the Year End Rollover (P063913) the output report shows error message 4241 - Rollover limit not found for new employees with a start date in the month when the rollover is processed. Vacation DBA (Deduction, Benefit, Accrual) time did not rollover for these new employees.

Steps to duplicate:

  1. In Employee Entry (P0801), verify the start date for a new employee is in the month the rollover is processing.
  2. Verify the new employee has a vacation accrual in P060181 (Employee DBA instructions).
  3. Run the Year End Rollover (P063913) and review the output showing error message 4241 on the new employee.
  4. Go to DBA Setup (G0742, option 3) and inquire on the vacation DBA.
  5. Take function exit F19 - Rollover, then function F17 - Calculation Tables.
  6. Note the lower limit on the table code with a table method based on the start date used for this Calculation Table is set to a value higher than 0.  In this case it is set to .01.
