Symptoms

Louisville Kentucky, Geocode 181110490, uses school code 00006.  When this school code is attached to a Louisville Kentucky employee in P0801, Employee Entry, tax type N (school tax) is not calculated during pre-payroll processing, P06210.

Steps:

  1. Set up a Louisville Kentucky employee, geocode 181110490 for work and residence, in Employee Entry, P0801.
  2. Attach school code 00006 in Tax Withholding/Overrides, P060120, in the School District field, SCDC.
  3. Include this employee in a payroll process, P06210, on menu G0713, option 2.
  4. Review the Payroll Register, R063012, created in pre-payroll, and note Tax Type N (school tax) did not calculate.
