This document contains some troubleshooting tips for common errors when using the JD Edwards World design and compile functions in Software Version Repository (SVR).
To implement the solutions in this document, expertise in and authority to SVR programming may be required.

Compile Issues |
Issue 1: Custom file has a prefix of SH and the compile shows that as a duplicate |
Issue 2: When you compile, no report is produced |

Issue 4: The system returns severity 20 errors in your compile that you can't resolve |
Issue 5: The system returns many level 30, 40, and 50 error messages when compiling |

Issue 7: When you submit a compile for a Print File, the jobs disappears without a joblog |
Issue 8: Compiling Address Book Revisions (P01051) produces errors including RNF7030 - The name or indicator #EVENTJ...is not defined. |

Issue 1: The subfile portion of the SVR screen (V9801) is not populated |
Issue 2: Cannot locate source code for a member in SVR |
Issue 3: When trying to move blocks of code from one part of a program to another, the system returns sequence errors |
Issue 4: Use Option 11 for Precompiler Commands and nothing happens |
Issue 5: Unable to compile an object at a previous IBM release level |
