Purpose

This document provides a detailed explanation about expiration and effective thru dates in JD Edwards World Software and the functionality of Data Dictionary Item #CYR - Century Change Year.  It also explains how to update these dates by running the Update Effective Thru Dates (P4028).

Scope

 A determination needs to be made by management regarding what the Data Dictionary Item 'Century Change Year' (#CYR) should be defined as. This Century Change Year is used to convert new thru dates.
