RTF Files Fail to Import in Import Server (Doc ID 1052067.1)

Symptoms

Files with the .rtf extension do not import through the Import Server. Here is some sample logging from a failed import of an rtf file.

01/15/10 00:01:01 5116 Processing attachment #1 [Invoice.rtf].
01/15/10 00:01:01 5139 The attachment [Invoice.rtf] was determined to be invalid.
01/15/10 00:01:01 1116 No pages were added to the new batch. This batch will be removed.
01/15/10 00:01:01 1310 ***Error*** Error occurred during batch importing, import item Thu, 12 Nov 2009 13:27:44 -0400 did not import. Provider: Email Provider Job: AP_Invoice_Email
