How to Setup 11g OID Multimaster Replication

This document addresses how to setup 2-node LDAP-based multi-master replication in OID 11.1 using the Replication Wizard from within the Enterprise Manager (EM) Fusion Middleware Control.

Requirements before performing the steps below:
- Two OID nodes must already installed and running.
- Obtain an ldifwrite of both OIDs in case there is a problem. The command is as follows:
ldifwrite connect=<OID_db> basedn="" ldiffile="<output_filename>"
This will store the resulting .ctl and .dat files in the OID <INSTANCE_HOME>/OID/load directory
Then issue this command to load the data into OID:
The Replication Wizard uses the terms Primary Node and Secondary Node. Generally, the Primary Node is the SUPPLIER and the Secondary Node is the CONSUMER.
