Symptoms
A Fusion Middleware 11g Middleware Home has been created. It contains
- Oracle WebLogic Server software home
- An Oracle Fusion Middleware product ORACLE_HOME (e.g. Identity Management, Web Tier, Portal/Forms/Reports/Discoverer)
An attempt is now made to configure an AS Instance by running the Configuration Assistant.
(The problem may also be seen if your chosen product allows the option "Install and Configure")
The 'Domain Creation' step of the configuration fails.
The following error logged in oraInstall<dateandtimestamp>.log / .out file(s) located under <Oracle_Inventory_Location>/logs:
