During a period of network instability, experienced the known connect-over-connect scenario in which an ON_STARTUP configured gateway(a Tuxedo GWTDOMAIN process) connects to an INCOMING_ONLY gateway multiple times without an intermediate disconnect. Usually caused by a firewall that drops the connection on one side only.
It shows up in the Tuxedo ULOG like this:
While the network instability was happening, one occurrence of this message in the ULOG:
The strange message above is coming from the INCOMING_ONLY configured side(that is to say, configured in the Tuxedo domains configuration file), very close to the other usual connect over connect messages for the same remote domain.
The online doc says this for the message:
INFO: Duplicated connection to remote domain <domainname>, drop new connection!
The GWTDOMAIN got duplicated connection to remote domain.
