Symptoms


When attempting to call an Oracle Form from Oracle Portal, the following error occurs:

ORA-28030: Server encountered problems accessing LDAP directory service


Running the Oracle Form standalone with the following URL results in the same LDAP error:

http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/forms90/f90servlet?form=<FORM_NAME>4.fmx

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Login to Oracle Portal.
  2. Call an Oracle Form from Portal.
    Here it returns the error.

OR

  1. Run the form standalone.
  2. Provide the Login information to the Database.
    Here it returns the error.
