Apache Processes Hang and Take Up CPU (Doc ID 1062785.1)

Symptoms


Http server processes are hanging and using 6.2% cpu time. A few of these are getting created and the cpu usage eventually goes up to 100%

Access log shows these http processes are getting created in increments of 5 minutes apart and are calling: /pls/portal/htp.p?cbuf=Test

Server-status information shows these are coming from the iasconsole.

Killing the processes and shutting down iasconsole stops the hanging from happening

Changes

http listening port was changed.
