The most recent release is version 11.1.1.9.0.  Further information on guidance for a full installation or an upgrade is in the Readme.

Are there any important patches available?

Please see Document 1365203.2 : Information Center: Patching and Maintaining WebCenter Content: Imaging for the latest on patches.  These patches are cumulative (they include all previous bug fixes for the version and product). Please view the Readme for specific information relating to each patch.
