Oracle WebCenter Interaction - Version 5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.Purpose

Often when reading through Spy or Job logs, we see messages of interest referring to a particular Object ID with its respective ClassID, but we may not be able to immediately identify what that object type is. As many object types (e.g. directory documents) have multiple dependencies on other object types (e.g. crawler web service, content source, etc), it is imperative that we correctly identify the correct object type the log message is actually referring to.

The table below clarifies the association between ClassIDs and their respective object type description.

Scope

This article is intended for WebCenter Interaction Portal Administrators, who have a fair understanding of the inner workings of the WCI portal.
