OID 11g "opmnctl status" Command Does Not Show OID Replication Server (oidrepld)

Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g (11.1.1.1.0 or 11.1.1.1.2.0) nodes using OID Replication.
No WebLogic Server (WLS) installed.
After starting the replication process using oidctl as mentioned in 11g Admin Guide, for example:
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/oidctl connect=<oiddb> server=oidrepld instance=1 componentname=<component_name> flags="-h <hostname> -p <ldap_port>" start
The following command does not list / shown the launched / running replication process (oidrepld):
opmnctl status -l
Only oidmon and oidldapd processes are displayed.
