Goal

This article provides step-by-step instructions for setting up a WebLogic Server (WLS) domain with an administrative (admin) server and a single managed server located on a remote machine. It includes some basic instructions for how to configure Node Manager to control the managed server. Please note that this article is intended to supplement the documentation on these points, not to replace it. The documentation covers many of the complications that can arise during this process, as well as providing additional details on each step.
