Attach A File To A Process Instance Via Instance Detail View Fails (Doc ID 1086224.1)

Symptoms

When you try to attach a document to a process instance (via the instance detail panel in BPM workspace ) you obtain the following error: "Unexpected error on upload process."

On the file system (in the Unix box where the Engine runs) you can see that a directory has been created ("fuegoUploadFile") for the user who runs the engine's WLS domain, in the engine's temp directory (i.e. /var/tmp). Consequently the user running the BPM workspace WLS domain cannot save/write any files in this folder.
