Oracle WebCache 10.1.2.3.2 keeps crashing with the following error reported in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/ipm.log:
The crash is happening directly after a malformed request is reported in $ORACLE_HOME/webcache/logs/event_log:
[29/Jan/2010:02:21:18 +0100] [error 12412] [ecid: <ECID>] HTTP request-header parsing error - malformed request line. Client IP: <IP>
[29/Jan/2010:02:21:18 +0100] [error 12419] [ecid: <ECID>] Dump of offending HTTP request-header line: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (Windows XP 5.1) Java/1.6.0_15
This malformed request is not recorded in $ORACLE_HOME/webcache/logs/access_log
A tracedump file is generated in $ORACLE_HOME/webcache/logs and shows:
Error Number: 0
Signal Code: SEGV_MAPERR
Faulting Address: 0x4
Oracle Application Server has been patched to 10.1.2.3.0 (Patch 5983622) and WebCache Bundle Patch 10.1.2.3.2 (Patch 8402457) applied to WebCache.
