Symptoms

In Oracle Service Bus 10.3.1 when using an XQuery in a pipeline; if in the XQuery the function fn:error is called to signal an error condition, the error condition does not show up in the message flow.

The XQuery exception is not thrown to the pipeline and error cannot be logged/audited properly.
