'No such file or directory' Signaled And Unable to Reverse XSD Files On Unix Like Systems With The ODI XML Driver (Doc ID 1119151.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Unix like systems, when testing the connection to an ODI XML Technology Data Server created with a URL referencing an XSD file, the following error message is signaled :

java.sql.SQLException: A SAXException was caught while reading the model saying An IOException occured while including another schema saying /........./myXsdFile.xsd (No such file or directory)

  - where myXsdFile.xsd should reference an existing XSD file either in the URL of the XML Technology Data Server or referenced in the logical XSD tree of a set of XSD files.

However, if the same operation is performed on Microsoft Corporations Windows hosts, the same behavior is not encountered and the connection test and reverse engineering runs to completion.
