Symptoms

Unable to compile sample plug-in against OVD 11g (11.1.1.2.0) vde.jar and asn1c.jar.
Custom plugins also fail with missing classes. The missing classes are:

import com.octetstring.ldapv3.Filter;
import com.octetstring.vde.Credentials;
import com.octetstring.vde.Entry;
import com.octetstring.vde.EntryChange;
import com.octetstring.vde.operation.LDAPResult;
import com.octetstring.vde.SchemaChecker;
