Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Data Quality for Product Data - Version 5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You are trying to use the expert source formatting to standardize/format the following scenarios that uses dashes and slashes to separate 4 different attributes.

For example, 3 samples of data:

3/208-230/460 1/8 1140

3/115/460/575 1/4 1175

1/208/230-460 1/2 1250

The attributes in this data are as follows (Phase, Voltage(3 values), Horsepower & RPMs). The Voltage is inconsistent with dashes and slashes.

You want to replace some dashes with spaces and others with slashes. You are also adding "ph" "v" "hp" and "rpm" after the appropriate data. The results should be the following :

3ph 208/230/460v 1/8hp 1140rpm
3ph 115/460/575v 1/4hp 1175rpm
1ph 208/230/460v 1/2hp 1250rpm

Here is how to achieve the results.
