When coding a SQL WHERE clause, such as:

...where variable1 like %myparm% 

is it possible to replace "myparm" with a parameter identifier such as ? or &?1& ?

Also, is it possible to code:

WHERE my_field LIKE %&?1&%

instead of :

 LIKE &?1&
