ORA-00600 : [12333] Hitting The Database Continuously (Doc ID 1140424.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to call a stored procedure from JDBC thin client the following error occurs.

Key symptoms:

- JDBC program giving ORA-600: [12333] intermittently
- program has timeouts specified to Example: abort long running queries
- a trace showed the number and types of binds sent by the program did not match those expected for the statement to be executed
