Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Web Services - Version: 10.1.3.5 and later   [Release: AS10gR3 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A J2EE application that was created in JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 deploys fine in OC4J 10.1.3.4. However, when deploying the same application in OC4J 10.1.3.5, it fails with the following error:

java.rmi.ServerException no serializer is registered

In addition, the OC4J 10.1.3.5 will generate some packages wrongly; for example, the Web Service Serializer classes will be generated like the following:
om.crownagents.trips.service.processconfig.service.runtime.ProcessConfigWebServiceBinding_Tie
 although it should be like:
com.crownagents.trips.service.processconfig.service.runtime.ProcessConfigWebServiceBinding_Tie
