The following error is seen accessing your portal site:

Failure of server APACHE bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF.
Build date/time: Oct 27 2009 11:02:52
Change Number: 1013"

The $INSTANCE_HOME/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1/ohs1.log Also shows the following error:

[2012-02-07T07:04:36.2982-05:00] [OHS] [INCIDENT_ERROR:32] [OHS-9999] [mod_weblogic.c] [host_id: <HOSTNAME>] [host_addr: <IP_ADDRESS>] [tid: <TID>] [user: <USERNAME>] [ecid: <ECID>] [rid: 0:1:1] [VirtualHost: servername:port] ap_proxy: trying GET /portal/pls/portal at backend host '<IP_ADDRESS>/9001; got exception 'NO_RESOURCES: [os error=111, line 1949 of ../nsapi/URL.cpp]: apr_socket_connect call failed '
This was working right after the portal installation was completed.


The system was recently rebooted.
