Apache Bridge Failure When Portal Is Accessed (Doc ID 1159469.1)

Symptoms

The following error is seen accessing your portal site:

Failure of server APACHE bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF.
Build date/time: Oct 27 2009 11:02:52
Change Number: 1013"

The $INSTANCE_HOME/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1/ohs1.log Also shows the following error:

This was working right after the portal installation was completed.

Changes

The system was recently rebooted.
