Symptoms

You are running composite applications that have been deployed to the Oracle SOA Suite component running within an Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.x installation. After logging into the BPEL Console from a browser you follow various links to navigate to different pages or tabs, but encounter HTTP-500 errors when retrieving some but not all of these pages.

When encountering this problem the following related log messages can also be found in the log.xml file for the OC4J_SOA instance (located at $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_SOA/logs/OC4J_SOA_default_group_1/log.xml):
