Symptoms

The "Oracle Document Capture Commit Server" service (log file) is returning an "Error Number: 70 Error Description: Permission denied" message when committing batches with the Imaging Commit Driver (using the Input Agent) method. The error looks like this:

Failed to commit batch UKAPINV000000035. Error Number: 40006, Error: Commit Profile - IPM 11g Commit Profile: The following error was reported by BeginCommit. Error Number: 70 Error Description: Permission denied

Changes

The Commit Server can successfully commit batches when running as an application, but this error appears when running the Commit Server as a Windows service.
