When Using Capture to Commit to the IPM 11g Commit Driver, the Date Field is Being Changed From "DD/MM/YYYY" to "MM/DD/YYYY" (Doc ID 1174739.1)

Last updated on MARCH 05, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Capture 10g - Version 10.1.3.5.0 and later
Oracle WebCenter Distributed Capture - Version 10.1.3.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Documents committed from WebCenter Capture (formerly Oracle Document Capture) or WebCenter Distributed Capture (formerly Oracle Distributed Document Capture) auto-populate the "ScanDate" field with a format of "dd/mm/yyyy". They end up in the IPM 11g system as switching the date and month values around so a document committed on August 11, 2010 is stored as 08/11/2010 (when it should be stored as 11/08/2010).
