When Using Capture to Commit to the IPM 11g Commit Driver, the Date Field is Being Changed From "DD/MM/YYYY" to "MM/DD/YYYY"

Symptoms
Documents committed from WebCenter Capture (formerly Oracle Document Capture) or WebCenter Distributed Capture (formerly Oracle Distributed Document Capture) auto-populate the "ScanDate" field with a format of "dd/mm/yyyy". They end up in the IPM 11g system as switching the date and month values around so a document committed on August 11, 2010 is stored as 08/11/2010 (when it should be stored as 11/08/2010).
