ORA-00942 When Updating Table In Oracle Server 11g Using JDBC Drivers (Doc ID 1211614.1)

Symptoms

Application using JDBC 10g or JDBC 11g drivers against Oracle Server 11g (11.1.0.7 or 11.2.0.1) fails intermittently on update with error:

ORA-00942 Table or View does not exist

This error occurs even though the user account (application login account) has full access to tables.
This is an environment where multiple schemas have identical objects; different schemas contain the tables updated.
