Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g on Windows platform.

      Viewing Oracle Directory Integration Platform Status and Registration Information

Unable to query Directory Integration Platform (DIP) information from the command prompt with dipStatus as documented:

E:\oracle\Middleware\IDM_Binaries\bin>dipstatus -h <HOSTNAME> -p 7001 weblogic
Exception in thread "Main Thread" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Files\BusinessObjects
Could not find the main class: Files\BusinessObjects. Program will exit.


In the above example, the Files\BusinessObjects portion of the error is in reference to existing directory \Program Files\BusinessObjects.
