After Updating Content Profile Links Via My Profile, Standard Search/Check-In Show A 404 Error

On : version, Content Server

When updating our Content profile links via my profile while in the trays layout a 404 error occurs when clicking on the Standard Check In or Standard Search.  If the browser is closed and re-opened then clicking on Standard Search and Standard Check In both work.  The next time the Content profile links are updated the error occurs right away. This 404 error does not happen when using the top menus or classic layout.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Click on My Profile
2. Update Portal Design
3. Edit Content Profile Links
