Last updated on APRIL 18, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Business Process Management Suite - Version 10.3.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The BPM product supports Oracle JDBC drivers along the BEA / DataDirect drivers starting the version 10.3.1. This document explains how to change the driver types.

Starting on BPM 10.3.2 the Oracle JDBC driver is the recommended driver for the JEE BPM installations. Note that the "BPM's Oracle Driver Version" option in WebLogic is the DataDirect driver.

The document applies to BPM Enterprise for WebLogic Server, but the same logic can be used for the WebSphere version of the product.
