(Doc ID 1262866.1)
Last updated on JULY 05, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Warehouse Builder - Version 11.2.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In a new 11gR2 Database install when the OLAP Option is excluded from the database creation since it is not licensed at the location, the OWBSYS and OWBSYS_AUDIT accounts are not present.
The OWBSYS account is the schema for Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) which is created as part of the OLAP installation.
When the OLAP option is deselected when creating a database with DBCA, the OWBSYS account is not created. This is part of the database creation template.
OWB does not require OLAP to be installed but the OWBSYS and OWBSYS_AUDIT accounts are required to install the OWB repository.
How can these accounts be created if OLAP is not installed?
