Symptoms

After configuring an application running on a Fusion MiddleWare (FMW) 11g Web Tier for Oracle Single Sign-On (OSSO), an HTTP-500 Internal Server Error occurs when the application is accessed.

The application resource has been protected with mod_osso by configuring the <ORACLE_INSTANCE>/config/OHS/<OHS_INSTANCE>/moduleconf/mod_osso.conf file.

If OSSO protection is removed, the application can be accessed successfully.

Steps to reproduce

1. Access the application in a browser session.
2. HTTP-500 Internal Server Error occurs immediately.
