JBOSS Application Server Connections Hang After Upgrade to JDBC 11g (Doc ID 1272528.1)

JDBC - Version: 11.2.0.2 and later   [Release: 11.2 and later ]
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading JDBC driver from 10g to 11.2.0.2 (ojdbc6.jar) using JDK 1.6, JBOSS application hangs on connection.

JDBCINFO jsp from <> How To Determine The Exact JDBC Driver Version (9.x - 11.x) For J2EE Programs", deployed to JBOSS works fine.

Connections with JDBC 10g drivers work fine.

Changes

Upgrade from JDBC 10g to 11g.
