Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g OPMN Managed Processes Terminate After MS Windows Logoff (Doc ID 1275102.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g products featuring OPMN managed components has been installed on MS Windows.

The OPMN components start up fine using commands like the following

set ORACLE_INSTANCE=D:\oracle\app\product\middleware11g\as_inst1
set ORACLE_HOME=D:\oracle\app\product\middleware11g\as1
%ORACLE_HOME%\opmn\bin\opmnctl startall


or

set ORACLE_INSTANCE=D:\oracle\app\product\middleware11g\as_inst1
set ORACLE_HOME=D:\oracle\app\product\middleware11g\as1
set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\opmn\bin:%PATH%
opmnctl startall


When, the MS Windows logs out the OPMN managed processes crash / terminate.
