Goal

While generating code, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) uses a Java interpreter. The backslash is a specific escape character for Java and is interpreted in a way that results in removal. 

How can the backslash characters (\)  be protected to avoid deletion during the parsing and code generation phases?
