Renditions Of Documents Remain Accessible After the Document has Expired (Doc ID 1278939.1)

Symptoms

After expiring a document, you find that:

  • the renditions of the document remain available/accessible over the standard URL.
  • the document itself is still accessible through a slightly modified URL
    • for example: myimage.jpg can be accessed as myimage~1.jpg once it has expired
Under these circumstances, a user can bookmark the URL to a rendition while the content was "live" and still can access it later when the content is expired, which may not be desired.
