Symptoms
In a new install of Oracle Fusion MiddleWare 11g or later using Oracle Reports, the default standalone reports server will not start when using a DISPLAY that points to a VNC Server and errors with:
in the rwserver_diagnostic.log :
REP-56105 : Engine rwEng-0 died with error
in the rwEng-0_diagnostic.log:
REP-3000: An internal error occurred starting Oracle Toolkit.
In the $ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/reports/bin/reports.sh:
Changes
