OWB 11g Mapping deployment fails with:
Characteristics of the Mapping
- Source table within the mapping resides in a remote database
- OWB Source Location is registered with SQL*Net.
The location deploys fine (the database link is created in the database), but the Control Center does not register the location as having been deployed. This gives rise to continuous "ORA-02011: duplicate database link name" errors every time a mapping is deployed, since the mapping generation also triggers the re-generation of the database link code – which has already been deployed and therefore fails to create a second time.
