'ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException' Signaled From ODI Designer When Closing A Running Session Left Open In A Previous Windows Remote Desktop Session (Doc ID 1292959.1)

Symptoms

When using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) on Microsoft Windows 32-bit operating system, the following message:

is signaled when accessing Designer, Operator... ODI graphical module on a remote desktop, as described below:

  1. Connect to the main Windows session from a remote machine.
  2. Inside the remote session, launch the ODI Designer.
  3. Close the connection on the remote machine without shutting down the session.
  4. Return to the main machine, unlock the session an try to stop ODI Designer.

Note that after the message above is signaled, the ODI Designer process still shows in the Windows Task Manager, and needs to be manually killed.
