ODSEE - Error 20505 Serious Failure During Database Checkpointing, Err=1 (Not Owner) (Doc ID 1294118.1)

Symptoms


Customer ran out of disk space on their server.  The root cause behind the disk space exhaustion was determined to be a large number of transaction logs that had not been processed.  The Directory Server instance was restarted, and the transaction logs were cleared.  After the restart, many of the below errors were observed:


[01/Feb/2011:07:08:58 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
[01/Feb/2011:07:39:29 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
[01/Feb/2011:08:10:00 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
[01/Feb/2011:08:40:32 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
[01/Feb/2011:09:11:03 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
[01/Feb/2011:09:41:34 -0500] - ERROR<20505> - Backend Database - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Serious failure during database checkpointing, err=1 (Not owner)
